Four Lady Chargers gain post season noteriety
DONALDSON — The 2024-2025 Marian University Ancilla Women’s Basketball team set a new record for wins in a single season with 27. Because of it, four Chargers were honored for their strong seasons. On Wednesday afternoon, the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and NJCAA Region 12 announced their Women’s Basketball Award winners.
Santana Eubanks:
Named to the Region 12 Division II All-Region Team
Named to the All-MCCAA Team
Named to the MCCAA Western Division First Team
Named Freshman of the Year in the MCCAA Western Division
Named to the MCCAA Western Division All-Freshman Team
Named to the MCCAA Western Division All-Defensive Team
2024 graduate of East Kentwood High School in Kentwood, Michigan
averaged 12.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 3.1 steals per game
De’Mour Watson:
Named to the Region 12 Division II All-Region Team
Named to the All-MCCAA Team
Named to the MCCAA Western Division First Team
2022 graduate of Elkhart High School
averaged 12.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.5 steals per game
Annika Davis:
Named to the Region 12 Division II All-Region Team
Named to the All-MCCAA Team
Named to the MCCAA Western Division First Team
Named to the MCCAA Western Division All-Freshman Team
2024 graduate of Fort Wayne’s Bishop Luers High School
averaged 13.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game
