Trojans grab split with North Judson
NORTH JUDSON — Triton returned the favor to North Judson in HNAC baseball action taking a 10-8 decision on the road on Tuesday night. The Night before the Bluejays had taken a win at Triton’s Ken Keller Field.
Trey McGowen stayed hot for North Judson with two more hits in the game both doubles, but Caleb Ginder had a huge night with five RBIs and a home run. Ayson Harper added a home run and a pair of RBIs as part of his three-hit performance.
Triton’s Drew Bingamon hit a homer of his own as part of a two-hit, two-RBI night. Braxton Kaufman had three hits including a double and a triple, and Jadyn Prater drove home two runs with a double.
Isaiah Vaca got the win in relief of Kaufman striking out four in an inning and two thirds of work.
Christian Ingram was the hard luck loser with four innings in relief of McGowen for North Judson.
North Judson is now 1-3 on the year and are in action at Hebron tonight.
Triton is also 1-3 and will be at home tonight against Elkhart Christian.
