Bremen boys end 65-year title drought

PLYMOUTH — Bremen’s boys track team had a great night taking a sectional title at Plymouth on Thursday.
“The boys made a commitment to each other at the end of the 2023-24 sectional that they would return with even greater focus, determination, and grit,” said Mark Yoder Bremen track coach. “It would be no easy task, as the teams from Manchester and newly added NorthWood would also be seeking the championship. The boys knew they had to fight for every single position and point possible to make their dream a reality.”
Following the conclusion of the shot put, the boys were positioned within striking distance to win the meet. The 4×400 relay team went to work winning the race with the 5th fastest time in school history and ultimately securing the first Boys Track and Field Sectional Championship for 65 years, beating Northwood 122.5 – 117.
