IHSBCA announces Academic All-State selections

AUBURN — Some local baseball players continue to garner postseason honors, as the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association has announced its 2025 Academic All-State list.

Congratulations go out to LaVille senior Collin Czarnecki and two IHSBCA North All Stars Foster Stockton from CMA and Preston Wolfe from Plymouth.
To become an IHSBCA Academic All-State selection, the player must be a senior during the 2025 season and play in 70 percent of the team’s games. In addition, they must meet one of two qualifiers automatically. If the player is valedictorian or salutatorian, they automatically qualify; otherwise, the player must qualify with a score of 8 on the academic formula that takes into account the player’s grade point average and SAT/ACT scores.

Czarnecki graduated in late May as the LaVille Valedictorian.
