Local runners run in New Prairie Invite

Local schools took their cross country teams to the New Prairie Invite had a total of 100 boys and 97 girls teams. There were a total of 1832 runners divided into 9 different boys’ or girls’ races. The boys ran the AA division race. This had a total of 233 boys representing several schools across the area.

The boys’ team finished 13th overall out of 27 complete teams.
The Lady Lions ran the AA division race. This had a total of 201 girls representing several schools across the area. Grace Moyer 20:49, 22nd overall finish, earning a ribbon. Corinne Muck 23:26, Charlotte Rink 25:50, Harlow Rogers 27:30, getting a season best by 10 seconds, Jessica Rogers 36:57. The girls’ team finished 21st out of 24 complete teams.
Triton’s girls team ran in the A race and finished third in a field of 22 teams. The Trojans had one boys runner in the field of 28 teams and 236 athletes.
