Bremen falls to #17 BC
BREMEN — The Lions of Bremen welcomed in the #17-ranked Bethany Christian Bruins on Tuesday night for the final home game of the season, taking a tough loss 3-2.
Bethany Christian was the state champs and state runner-up from the previous two seasons.
The first half started with great pressure from the Lions and produced a goal in the first 20 minutes of the game. Bremen continued to lead until the 52nd minute in the second half when Bethany struck back. Bethany would get a second goal with 15 minutes remaining in the game, but the Lions answered back on a beautiful curling shot by sophomore Alan Barrera with 5 minutes remaining.
