CGA gets a win over Argos

ARGOS — The Argos Lady Dragons’ host led the Culver Academy Lady Eagles Tuesday night, taking a 3-1 loss.
The Eagles were first on the board in the 14th minute and scored their second goal in the 25th minute.
Argos came out quick in the second half, scoring within the 41st minute when Emily Pippenger slipped Elaina Conklin through the defense, where she was able to beat the keeper far post.
The game remained at a 1-goal differential until the 61st minute, when the Eagles were able to score the final goal of the game.
The Dragons were outshot 2-19 and moved to 4-10-1 on the season. Argos will finish their regular season on the road when they travel to Bethany Christian Saturday evening, before Sectional kickoff on Tuesday.
