MUAC falls to Kellogg

Marian University’s Ancilla Chargers volleyball team hosted the Kellogg Bruins, who currently sit in second place in the MCCAA Western Conference standings. The Bruins used consistency and execution all evening to defeat the Chargers 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-17). It felt like during each set, the Chargers found their stride moments too late, as they went on runs to cut into leads but could never overtake the Bruins to win a set.

By the end of the conference matchup, Freshman Adalynn Garza lead the team with 2 service aces, Freshman Alex Sutherlin had 8 kills, Freshman Miranda Woodard had 3 solo blocks, and Sophomore Kaitlynn Kelderhouse had 11 digs.

The Marian Ancilla Volleyball team is back in action tomorrow and Friday, with both days being road trips. Tomorrow, they head to MCCAA leader Southwestern Michigan (6-0 in MCCAA play) for a 6:30p start. Friday, they travel to Berrien Springs to take on Southwestern Adventist (1:00p) and Andrews (3:00p) in a midday round-robin.
