Late-inning heroics push Glenn to the final
PLYMOUTH — Plymouth took a heartbreaking loss in semi-final sectional action 12-9 to Glenn.
The Pilgrims came back to plate five in the sixth to take their first lead of the game 9-6, but Glenn answered with three in the top of the seventh and three more in the top of the eighth to move to the sectional final for the second year in a row.
Our MAX98.3 Player of the Game was Glenn freshman pitcher Emma Thomas who went the distance, striking out 9 and walking just two to take the win.
