Plymouth gets big win at Wawasee
SYRACUSE — Plymouth’s Pilgrims took a big first-quarter lead and never looked back on the way to a 60-35 NLC victory over Wawasee.
“I’m proud of the response this week after the Concord game last weekend,” said Plymouth coach Greg Miller. “Great game offensively, as we were able to move the ball and get the ball to the paint. Onto preparing for Northridge next weekend.”
Plymouth was led by Kadyn Ellery with another double-double of 24 points and 12 rebounds with five assists. Trent Van Duyne had 17 and five boards.
Plymouth’s JV boys basketball team took a road loss at Wawasee 55-43.
Kyleb Ellery had 14 and Grayson Terrone had 10 points to lead Plymouth. The JV is now 5-8.
The Plymouth varsity is now 8-6 overall and play at Northridge on Friday.
