Goshen gets past Pilgrim runners

GOSHEN — The Pilgrims traveled to Goshen High School for a dual meet, falling by a final score of 71-61.
The meet started off with Plymouth losing the 4×800 by half a second, which was a detrimental 5-0 score.
Ethan O’Leary (12) and Brock Shortt (10) picked up some critical points in the 110 hurdles two events later by going first and second.
Goshen’s distance delivered some impressive races to take the lead. After a 400m win from Hunter Shipley and another first and second place from the Plymouth hurdles in the 300H, the meet was tied 50-50.
Goshen finished strong by going first and second in both the 200m and the 3200m, securing the team win. Plymouth finished out well with a 4×400 win in 3:33.

The 4×800 (Faulstich, W.Ogilvie, Houin, Shipley), who ran a season best 9:38 Underclassmen, Bryant Ogilvie (9), who PR’d in both the 800 and 1600. Underclassman Chris Chaney (10), who PR’d in both Shot and Disc. Freshman Bentley Jimenez (9), who won the JV 100m.
Plymouth will be in action again on Wednesday, 5/6/26, vs Wawasee and Warsaw at Home.
