Plymouth edged by Mishawaka

MISHAWAKA — Plymouth’s softball team was able to bang out 14 hits but fell short to Mishawaka 11-9 in an NLC road battle.
Chloe Horton had three hits, including a double. Rylee Eiseman, Gracie Patrick, Lexi Pike, and Kylie Waldrop all had two hits for Plymouth.
“Despite falling behind early, the girls fought hard to battle back,” said Plymouth coach Brian Hamman. “A very Gritty performance. Chloe Horton had the hot bat and continued to flash the leather in the outfield.”
