Plymouth girls edged by Warsaw at NLC meet

WARSAW — After an undefeated regular season, Plymouth’s girls fell one point shy of making it a clean sweep with an NLC meet title, falling to Warsaw.
“Incredibly proud of the way our team battled and went toe to toe with Warsaw as we finished in second place by a point,” said Plymouth coach Rick Stiles. “On the night, we had three conference champions with Jersey Hunter breaking her own school record in a time of 15.33 in the 100m hurdles. Alana Allen took first in the 100m dash, and Eva Macey earned her first conference championship in the 300m hurdles.

Next Contest: The Varsity team will travel to Bremen on Tuesday for the sectional meet as they begin their journey in the IHSAA championship portion of their schedule. Field Events start at 5 pm, running events kick off with the 4x800m relay at 6 pm followed by the sprint/hurdle prelims at approximately 6:30 pm.
