Dragons, Lions battle to tie

ARGOS — The Argos Lady Dragons hosted the Bremen Lady Lions on Tuesday night in a physical matchup that ended in a 0-0 draw.
The Dragons created several opportunities to get into the Lions’ box but were unable to convert. Argos’ defensive line and midfield did an excellent job of diffusing the Bremen attack and keeping the Lions at bay.
Bremen’s Alexa Santillan had eight keeper saves.
Peytyn Willis and Kinzey Prochno for Argos had nine keeper saves between them.
With the draw, Argos moves to 2-3-3 on the season. Bremen is 5-0-2. The Lady Dragons will hit the road Thursday when they travel to Manchester. Bremen will be at home against Tippecanoe Valley.
