Plymouth tennis wins LaPorte Invite

LAPORTE — Plymouth travelled to LaPorte’s Kesling Park Saturday to play in the Slicer Invite, winning both matches to bring home the trophy.
Saturday’s wins finish a great week for Plymouth Girls Tennis, as the Varsity squad went 5-0 this week, highlighted by wins over three District-Ranked teams (Goshen, Northridge, LaPorte).
“The win over LaPorte was a quality win, as they are having another strong season and are also a team that we lost to last season,” said Plymouth coach Brad Haeck. “I thought we played well across the board in both matches today and continue to improve. What a great week the girls had, and hopefully next week (NLC Tourney) will be even better.”
Plymouth travels to Wawasee on Monday to play their final regular season and NLC match, 5:00 PM start.
