Pilgrim defensive woes lead to NLC loss

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth’s Pilgrims couldn’t overcome five errors and took a tough 7-4 loss at Bill Nixon Field in the MAX 98.3 game of the week.
Ethan Hall’s two-run homer in the third tied it up, and MAX 98.3 player of the game Grayson Terrone went three innings in relief, giving up just two hits, but the Pilgrims couldn’t overcome a four-run Mishawaka fourth and five errors in taking the loss.
Plymouth got doubles from Parker Wolfe, Cole Cain, and Drake Feece. Dom Vasquez came on to throw a scoreless seventh, striking out two.
Plymouth moves to 5-10 on the year and 2-6 in NLC play.
